I missed last weeks booksnap but back on track now, this week a steampunk theme and two books that feature the remarkable Ada Lovelace as a character. I have been really surprised to encounter an amazing number of people who don’t know who Ada Lovelace is, something we encounter whenever we explain our new canine’s name. For those that don’t know Ada was a mathematician and one of the first computer scientists, working with Charles Babbage on his analytical engine, essentially the first computer.
