S and I went to Stanthorpe (QLD) last weekend, which we will post on in more detail later, and saw a lot of insects, birds and other creatures during our walks. Here are a few of their photos.
It was good to see a lot of butterflies.
This little fellow watched while sitting on a hand rail. Random encounter during lunch.
Really lucky to be able to take photos of all these critters that we come across.
Gum trees and Galaxies

Definitely a lizard about 30 centimetres long. You can just see the legs in the picture. Saw it move into the rock when we caught it sun baking when we arrived. Saying that, I still took this picture from about 10 meters away, if it was a snake I would have been out of there.
