Gum trees and Galaxies 
Well, That’s not something we see in Vermont!

This is an Echidna, one of Australia’s unique wildlife. This is one we saw near one of our favourite costal camping spots and it was digging up ants nests next to a car park near the beach. It seemed completely oblivious to our presence and was a joy to see. We did see one other on that trip while we were near a café at the caravan park that we stay at. It was pretty much a first for me to see one in the “wild”.
