Afraid I am a bit late to add a book snap this week, but just quickly uploading Madeline Albright”s Fascism, this came out about a year or so ago and seems appropriate given the increasingly dystopian news we seem to be getting out of America and China. Albright’s account of 20th and early 21st-century history makes for compelling reading, a bit 20th-century history 101 but a great read and fascinating given Albright’s personal observations on some of this century’s major players, as Clinton’s Secretary of State she has had a front row seat and has some interesting observations to make in regards to figures like Erdogan in Turkey or Putin in Russia. A really good read and a timely warning.
Afraid it has been a slow week culminating in a weekend a bit under the weather, hopefully, will be back on top of things soon.
